Becoming a Homestay Host
Welcome to the Homestay Community!
What is Homestay?
Homestay is a unique and rewarding experience where individuals or families open their homes to international students, providing a supportive and enriching environment for cultural exchange.
Open Your Home. Change a Life. Create Global Connections.
Each year, the Halton District School Board’s (HDSB) International Student Program (ISP) brings students from around the world into our local schools—enriching classrooms, strengthening communities, and creating lifelong friendships.
Dream Homestay Ontario (DHO) is now inviting warm, welcoming families in the Halton region to host international students for the 2026–2027 school year.
