Dream Homestay Ontario (DHO) is your trusted homestay partner, collaborating with the Halton Catholic District School Board, Halton District School Board, and several private schools in Ontario. Our focus revolves around the daily lives of international students studying in Canada, offering a friendly, comfortable, and supportive environment through our homestay programs.

At Dream Homestay Ontario, we pride ourselves on a well-established system and extensive experience in working closely with schools, international students, and host families. Serving as intermediaries, we ensure students have access to us 24/7 for any assistance they may need.

Our primary mission is to support international students in their Canadian education journey. At Dream Homestay Ontario (DHO), every student is considered a member of our family. We have meticulously crafted programs that prioritize the safety and well-being of each student, facilitating a seamless transition between different cultures.
Regulatory Standards
We adhere to specific regulations and guidelines, ensuring a high standard of service:
- Selection and obligations of host families
- Supervision of host families
- Ongoing support for host families
- Strict confidentiality of international students and their families' information
- Completion of background check processes
- Adherence to agreements and regulations for host families
- Compliance with the "Canadian National Fire Code 2020"
Failure to meet home accommodation registration requirements is deemed unacceptable.
Our Homestay Process
Our program coordinators diligently collect information to place students in suitable homestay families, guaranteeing harmonious interactions. Regular visits and a multi-step selection process ensure international students have a safe and friendly living environment.
Homestay Experience
In our homestay families, international students will:
- Experience safe, friendly, and supportive family life
- Interact with local community families, aiding newcomers in adapting to Canadian life and different school systems
- Immerse themselves in the cultural diversity of the Canadian way of life
- Make new friends and build positive friendships
- Receive invitations to participate in family and community activities
